Out of cruelty, love.

If you are moved with compassion for Fr. Ryszard Biernat, please take the time to contact him to offer an expression of prayer and love. You may do so in the comments box below. It is a way for anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know Fr. Ryszard to continue to offer him prayer, love, support and affirmation.

Last night, many of us witnessed a tragic story of inhumane cruelty. That is not a personal judgement. It is an objective fact. If you haven’t seen the report containing the video interview of Fr. Ryszard Biernat from WKBW last night, please do so. Other heartbreaking interviews are here

Our hearts are broken watching this. That too is an objective fact.

Please, dear fellow laity, let us continue to pray our daily rosary, spend time in Eucharistic Adoration, go to Mass regularly and continue to show the love and compassion of Jesus to others for which we are known.

Continue to hold Jesus up high for all to see, Fr. Ryszard!

  1. My prayers are with you Fr. Ryszard. This is a painful time but the glory of God will prevail Mary Marks

  2. Father Rsyzard you have support here in Buffalo. You did not deserve what happened, yet you continue to help others while you yourself suffer. You are a living saint. Thank you for all you continue to do.

  3. Prayer of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus

    O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent priests;
    for your unfaithful and tepid priests;
    for your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields;
    for your tempted priests;
    for your lonely and desolate priests;
    for your young priests;
    for your dying priests;
    for the souls of your priests in purgatory.

    But above all, I recommend to you the priests dearest to me:
    the priest who baptized me;
    the priests who absolved me from my sins;
    the priests at whose Masses I assisted and who gave me your Body and Blood in Holy Communion;
    the priests who taught and instructed me;
    all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way .
    O Jesus, keep them all close to your heart,
    and bless them abundantly in time and in eternity.

    Amen.

  7. Fr. Ryszard,
    I’m praying for you as never before that this whole matter will end soon with the Bishops resignation.
    I applaud your bravery and I don’t think that you will have to preach in the streets. There will be a new beginning and you will welcomed to be a part of it. Praise God soon.
    Prayers and a hug, Kathy Baker

  8. Although we are no longer members of St. Mary of the Angels, I have always been an admirer of you, especially your commitment to the faith. I am so sorry to hear what all you have endured. Please know our family is behind you and you are in our prayers daily. We commend you for your courage in bringing this travesty to light. God bless you and if we can do anything other than pray, please let us know. Love you.
